I have gambled on countless of rounds of vingt-et-un. I started working my way into the gambling halls when I was sixteen. I have gambled on online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a little while. Given all that I have still lost all kinds of cash at vingt-et-un. The gambling halls have made it very hard to beat the game.
I still like the game and play on a regular basis. Over the years I have bet on a type of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get rich with this method or defeat the casino, still you will have a lot of fun. This tactic is built on the fact that chemin de fer seems to be a match of runs. When you are on fire your on fire, and when you are not you are NOT!
I wager with basic strategy twenty-one. When I lose I bet the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand. If I lose again I bet the table minimum on the successive hand again etc. Whenever I profit I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I return the wager back down to the original amount.
I am very disciplined and do not back out. It gets very fun at times. If you succeed at a few hands in series your wagers go up very fast. Before you know it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had great streaks a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Luxor a number of years ago with $750 after 30 mins using this technique! And a number of weeks ago in Las Vegas I left a table with $1200!
You have to understand that you can give away a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be astonished at the streaks you notice wagering this way. Here is a guide of what you would wager if you continue winning at a 5 dollar game.
Bet $5
Take 5 dollar paid to you, leave the original five dollar bet
Bet $5
Leave 5 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $10
Bet $10
Take $10 paid-out to you, leave the initial $10 wager
Bet ten dollar
Leave ten dollar paid to you for a total bet of 20 dollar
Wager 20 dollar
Take 20 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 20 dollar bet
Bet $20
Leave 20 dollar paid to you for a total wager of $40
Bet 40 dollar
Take 40 dollar paid to you, leave the first $40 bet
Wager $40
Leave forty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 80 dollar
Wager $80
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the first $80 bet
Bet eighty dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $160
Bet 160 dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid to you, leave the initial $160 wager
If you left at this instance you would be up 315 dollar !!
It’s difficult to go on a run this long, but it can happen. And when it does you can NOT alter and drop your wager or the final result won’t be the same.
