I have gambled on millions of rounds of twenty-one. I started sneaking into the gambling dens when I was sixteen. I have played online 21, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. With all that said I have still spent a lot of funds at twenty-one. The gambling dens have made it very hard to defeat the game.

I still like the game and play on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have gambled on a variation of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get flush with this tactic or beat the house, still you will have a lot of fun. This method is founded on the idea that chemin de fer appears to be a game of streaks. When you’re on fire your on fire, and when you are not you are NOT!

I wager with basic strategy 21. When I don’t win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I don’t win again I bet the table minimum on the next hand again etc. Once I win I take the payout paid to me and I wager the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I return the bet back down to the original amount.

I am very strict and never back out. It gets extremely exciting at times. If you win a few hands in a row your wagers go up very quickly. Before you know it you are betting $100-200per hand. I have had great runs a few times now. I departed a $5 table at the Wynn a number of years ago with $750 after 20 mins using this technique! And a number of months ago in Macau I left a table with $1200!

You have to understand that you can give away a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be surprised at the runs you notice wagering this way. Here is a guide of what you would bet if you kept winning at a 5 dollar table.

Bet five dollar
Take $5 paid-out to you, leave the first $5 bet

Wager five dollar
Leave $5 paid-out to you for a total wager of ten dollar

Wager 10 dollar
Take $10 paid to you, leave the initial $10 wager

Bet ten dollar
Leave 10 dollar paid to you for a total bet of $20

Wager 20 dollar
Take $20 paid to you, leave the original twenty dollar wager

Wager $20
Leave $20 paid-out to you for a total wager of 40 dollar

Bet forty dollar
Take 40 dollar paid to you, leave the first $40 bet

Wager 40 dollar
Leave forty dollar paid to you for a total wager of eighty dollar

Bet 80 dollar
Take $80 paid to you, leave the first 80 dollar wager

Bet eighty dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $160

Bet $160
Take $160 paid-out to you, leave the first 1 hundred and sixty dollar wager

If you departed at this point you would be up 315 dollar !!

It is herculean to go on a streak this long, but it can happen. And when it does you must NOT alter and drop your wager or the end result won’t be the same.
