I have bet on millions of rounds of chemin de fer. I started sneaking into the casinos when I was 16. I have enjoyed online 21, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short while. Given all that I have still spent an abundance of bankroll at blackjack. The casinos have made it almost impossible to beat the house.

I still like the game and play on a regular basis. Over the years I have played a variation of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You definitely will not get flush with this method or defeat the casino, however you will experience a lot of fun. This method is founded on the fact that blackjack seems to be a game of streaks. When you’re on fire your hot, and when you’re not you are NOT!

I bet with basic strategy twenty-one. When I lose I wager the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand. If I do not win again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the next hand again etc. Whenever I win I take the payout paid to me and I wager the original bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I lower the bet back down to the original amount.

I am very disciplined and do not "chicken out". It gets very exciting on occasion. If you win a few hands in series your wagers go up very quick. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had great streaks a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Wynn a couple of years back with $750 after 20 mins using this tactic! And a couple of days ago in Vegas I left a table with $1200!

You have to understand that you can squander a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be aghast at the streaks you witness betting this way. Here is a chart of what you would wager if you continue winning at a 5 dollar game.

Wager 5 dollar
Take 5 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $5 wager

Bet $5
Leave $5 paid-out to you for a total wager of $10

Wager 10 dollar
Take $10 paid to you, leave the first 10 dollar bet

Wager 10 dollar
Leave $10 paid-out to you for a total wager of $20

Bet twenty dollar
Take twenty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 20 dollar wager

Wager 20 dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of forty dollar

Wager 40 dollar
Take forty dollar paid to you, leave the first $40 bet

Bet forty dollar
Leave forty dollar paid to you for a total wager of 80 dollar

Bet 80 dollar
Take $80 paid to you, leave the initial $80 bet

Bet $80
Leave 80 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 160 dollar

Bet 160 dollar
Take 160 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $160 wager

If you departed at this point you would be up 3 hundred and fifteen dollars !!

It is iffy to go on a run this long, but it occasionally happen. And when it does you must NOT deviate and drop your bet or the end result will not be the same.
