I have gambled on millions of hands of twenty-one. I began sneaking into the casinos when I was still underage. I have enjoyed online twenty-one, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short while. With all that said I have still spent all kinds of funds at vingt-et-un. The gambling halls have made it nearly impossible to defeat the casino.

I still like the game and play on a regular basis. Over the years I have bet on a variation of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You definitely will not get rich with this method or beat the casino, however you will have an abundance of fun. This method is founded on the idea that blackjack appears to be a game of runs. When you’re hot your on fire, and when you’re not you’re NOT!

I play basic strategy chemin de fer. When I do not win I wager the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I don’t win again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the next hand again etc. Whenever I profit I take the payout paid to me and I wager the original bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I lower the bet back down to the original bet.

I am very disciplined and do not back out. It gets very exciting at times. If you succeed at a few hands in series your bets go up very fast. Before you know it you are betting $100-200per hand. I have had fantastic runs a number of times now. I left a $5 table at the MGM a number of years back with $750 after 45 minutes using this method! And a number of months ago in Sin City I left a table with $1200!

You need to understand that you can give away a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be astonished at the runs you notice gamble this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you kept winning at a $5 game.

Bet five dollar
Take $5 paid-out to you, leave the initial 5 dollar wager

Wager five dollar
Leave $5 paid-out to you for a total bet of 10 dollar

Bet ten dollar
Take 10 dollar paid to you, leave the original ten dollar wager

Wager 10 dollar
Leave $10 paid to you for a total wager of 20 dollar

Wager 20 dollar
Take $20 paid to you, leave the original $20 wager

Wager $20
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total bet of $40

Bet $40
Take $40 paid-out to you, leave the initial forty dollar bet

Bet forty dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid to you for a total bet of eighty dollar

Wager 80 dollar
Take $80 paid-out to you, leave the original eighty dollar wager

Bet $80
Leave 80 dollar paid to you for a total wager of one hundred and sixty dollar

Bet one hundred and sixty dollar
Take $160 paid-out to you, leave the initial 160 dollar bet

If you departed at this moment you would be up 315 dollar !!

It is difficult to go on a run this long, but it does happen. And when it does you can’t alter and lower your wager or the end result will not be the same.
