I have wagered on millions of rounds of blackjack. I began sneaking into the casinos when I was still underage. I have played online vingt-et-un, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short time. With all that said I have still spent a lot of funds at blackjack. The gambling dens have made it very hard to defeat the casino.

I still enjoy the game and wager on a regular basis. Over the years I have bet on a type of twenty-one called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get flush with this tactic or defeat the casino, still you will experience a lot of fun. This method is based on the idea that blackjack seems to be a game of runs. When you’re hot your on fire, and when you are not you’re NOT!

I bet with basic strategy vingt-et-un. When I lose I wager the table minimum on the subsequent hand. If I do not win again I wager the table minimum on the subsequent hand again etc. Once I win I take the payout paid to me and I bet the original wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I lower the bet back down to the original value.

I am very strict and never "chicken out". It gets very thrilling at times. If you succeed at a few hands in series your bets go up very fast. Before you know it you are betting $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome runs a few times now. I left a $5 table at the Flamingo a few years ago with $750 after 30 minutes using this tactic! And a couple of days ago in Las Vegas I left a game with $1200!

You need to understand that you can give up much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be astonished at the runs you notice wagering this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you continue winning at a five dollar game.

Take 40 dollar paid to you, leave the first 40 dollar wager

Wager 40 dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid to you for a total wager of $80

Wager 80 dollar
Take eighty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original eighty dollar wager

Wager 80 dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid to you for a total wager of $160

Wager 160 dollar
Take $160 paid-out to you, leave the first one hundred and 60 dollar wager

If you departed at this moment you would be up three hundred and 15 dollars !!

It is herculean to go on a streak this long, but it does happen. And when it does you can NOT alter and lower your bet or the end result won’t be the same.
